Model Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions for a Model attending for treatment with Rippon Medical Services Ltd for the purpose of marketing. By signing the photography copyright release contract you will be bound by its agreement.

Before & After Photos

As part of being a model for Rippon Medical Services Ltd., you will be required to allow Dr Rippon to take before and after photographs of your face, hands, neck or décolletage; for the purpose of business marketing and promotion. Publications which can include but is not limited to magazine articles, websites and social media platforms without any more compensation or recognition given to you. Furthermore, you will need to grant creative permission for Rippon Medical Services Ltd to alter the photographs for the purpose of cutting images to use for specific areas to show the specific before and after results. Once signing the photographic copyright agreement you will have agreed for  the use of these images as described above.

Deposits

On booking the appointment we require you to pay a £45.00 booking fee, this will be deducted from the total cost of the treatment. The full total must be paid on the day of the treatment.

Cancellations

If you cancel your appointment with 48 hours notice we can transfer your booking fee to another appointment or give you a full refund. If you cancel within the 48 hours of your appointment you will not be entitled to a refund. Depending on the discretion of Rippon Medical Services Ltd you may be entitled to transfer your deposit to another appointment. A deposit can only be transferred once. If you do not attend an appointment your deposit will be lost.

Medical History

You must provide accurate up to date information including your medical history on each of your appointments. We will not be held responsible for any incorrect information given.

Treatment Reviews

You will be given a follow up appointment and will endeavour to give you a suitable day and time for you to come back for Dr Rippon to review your treatment and to take after photographs. In most cases, we will recommend you leave the results of your treatment to settle for approximately two weeks following treatment. If you have had botulinum toxin with us, your review appointment can only take place between two and three weeks post-treatment. Failing to attend your review will result in being charged full price for the treatment.

Appointment

Prior to an appointment with Dr Rippon we will do some preliminary checks in advance to confirm the models suitability for treatment. A further check at consultation with Dr Rippon will double check suitability. If a model is not suitable and a booking fee has been paid, a full refund will be given.

ARRIVAL

The appointment time of the chosen model/s will be confirmed prior to the treatment. As with all our patients' appointment times we aim to run on time, but if on the day other treatment times run over please be prepared for a small wait.

Treatment will take approximately 30-60 minutes.

Upon arrival, all models will be required to fill in a treatment/ consent form. All make-up will need to be removed prior to treatment, so please come"fresh faced" if possible.

A waiting area will be available.

Due to the clinical environment we practice in we strongly advise you not to bring children to  your appointment.

MODEL REQUIREMENTS FOR BOTULINUM TOXIN

If you are considering Botulinum Toxin treatment and would like to be a model for Dr Rippon you will be pleased to know that each treatment area costs £45.00

What is involved in being a Botulinum toxin model?

You will receive the treatment at Dr Rippon's Clinic, 2 Spinners Yard, Fisher Street, Carlisle, Cumbria, CA3 8RE. You will need to fill out a medical questionnaire and go through a medical consultation with Dr Rippon prior to treatment to make sure you are suitable for treatment.

You must be between 30 and 65

Present with frown lines, brow lines or Crow's feet

Have had experience of an injectable treatment before ( Botox, dermal fillers) but not within two weeks of HA dermal fillers/ no swelling present) or a minimum of 4 months prior treatment of Botox.

Not needle-phobic

No history of anaphylaxis

As with any procedure, the baseline pictures are imperative to objectively assess treatment outcomes. Therefore, models should expect baseline images to be taken by Dr Rippon and will need to sign a copyright agreement for the use of these images.

PRE AND POSTCARE

MODEL REQUIREMENTS FOR PROFHILO

You must be  between 30 and 70 years old

Present with aged, photo-damaged and/or crepey skin or first signs of skin laxity

Has had experience of an injectable treatment before (Botox, dermal  fillers) but not within two weeks (HA dermal fillers/ no swelling present) or a minimum of 4 weeks after last completed treatment (Sculptra/Radiesse) or ofthe scheduled Profhilo model date.

Not needle-phobic

No history of anaphylaxis

As with any procedure, the baseline pictures are imperative to objectively assess treatment outcomes. Therefore, models should expect baseline images to be taken by Dr Rippon and will need to sign a copyright agreement for the use of these images.

Models need to understand this is at two treatment protocol and to receive optimum results they will require a second treatment four weeks after the first. Product required for these second treatment is to be provided by Dr Rippon at the discounted rate of £100.00 per syringe. Again, photographs will be required at this point and then again, in a further four weeks.

IF A MODEL FAILS TO ATTEND HIS/HER REVIEW/S FOR FOLLOW UP PHOTOGRAPHS HE/SHE WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL PRICE FOR THE TREATMENT RECEIVED.

AFTERCARE

There maybe some tenderness, redness, swelling and bruising around the injection site. This is normal and will subside, usually within a few days.

If swelling or pain persists or they are concerned, they should contact you as soon as possible

Use a cold pack to reduce swelling and/ soreness

Do not massage or manipulate the treated area

No recovery time is required and you can return to your daily activities immediately

Avoid any further cosmetic procedures for 2 days after  treatment

Avoid wearing make-up for 12 hours post- treatment

Avoid extreme temperatures (hot or cold) for a minimum of 7 days after treatment

(no saunas, steam rooms, sunbeds or sun exposure)

Apply a SPF30+ sunscreen

Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours

Avoid swimming for 48 hours

Avoid alcohol for 24 hours after treatment

Stay hydrated
